Several City departments heading to Saxonsea

The City of Cape Town’s Corporate Services Directorate is bringing its basket of services offering to Saxonsea Civic Hall in Atlantis on Thursday, 20 February 2025. Several City departments will be in attendance to present their services and assist residents with enquiries or concerns that affect them.

The details of the visit are as follows:

• Thursday, 20 February 2025, from 10:00 to 16:00 at the Saxonsea Civic Hall, 14 Hermes Avenue, Saxonsea, Atlantis

‘Taking the City’s services to the communities of Saxonsea is the City’s way of showing that we are committed to bringing services to residents and making local government more accessible to all. Those who will be visiting us at the Civic Hall must please remember to bring along their ID or municipal accounts to help ease the process,’ said the City’s Mayoral Committee Member for Corporate Services, Alderman Theresa Uys.

The departments that will be present at the Saxonsea Civic Hall are:

• Human Resources for enquiries about bursaries, internships, and apprenticeships

• Social Development to find out how you can get involved

• Customer Relations

• Health to find out more about primary health care services

• Safety and Security for information about traffic and law enforcement services

• EPWP and jobseekers to give unemployed youth an opportunity to register on jobseekers’ database to make them eligible for job opportunities that become available in their local communities.

Customers can also engage with the City in a wide range of non-emergency enquiries such as rates, sewage, electricity, water, refuse collections, and all other account enquiries.
